KUNKURU MAIN LODGE: (Roan Antelope) The main lodge may be booked for “Special occasions” or by flyers who want full catering. It accommodates 8 people sharing. There is a lovely pool, homely, cosy pub open on request, and conference room with DSTV. Aircraft tie-downs available on request. The first picture shows the main lodge lounge.
In the reception area at the main lodge, there is a curio shop stocked with arts and crafts produced at Kunkuru. The second picture shows the curio shop.
The "Waterhole Pub" is a popular gathering place for flyers and other visitors to Kunkuru. It is a Kunkuru tradition that all flyers who land at Kunkuru have their names inscribed on a visitor's board and a picture of their aircraft is pasted in the pub's album. In addition, each pilot receives a certificate and a title. After that, they qualify as "Kunkuru Eagles"! The last picture shows the inside of the pub.
